Persian Vintage Quchan 3'6" x 5'1"

This vintage Persian Quchan is woven entirely in undyed natural wools, working through a tight range of dark chocolate brown, warm camel, and faded tan — the result of age and use rather than any decorative intent, giving the surface an honest, worn-in depth that no new rug can replicate.

The field carries three squared geometric medallions arranged along a central axis, each filled with angular lattice and diagonal cross divisions, all set within a dark ground bordered by repeating chevron and serrated triangle bands stacked across the full width.

The pile is low and worn in places, with the warp visible in areas of the field — characteristics that collectors of tribal and antique pieces actively seek for the raw, archaeological quality they bring to a space. Best placed in studies, library spaces, eclectic living rooms, or anywhere a piece with genuine age and provenance is the intent.
